Scott Peck has been promoted to Marketing & Sales Manager for Detex & DSI.
Scott started working at Detex in the fall of 2009, helping transition Detex into a new product market, involving automatic swing door operators. Scott has worked within the Detex marketing and sales department for 13 years, learning to promote & sell all Detex products. Scott has traveled extensively, assisting with installations, selling to end users, conducting training sessions as well as participating in various industry events. Scott has held several positions at Detex including Sales Manager and most recently, Distribution Channel Manager. Scott will oversee the Detex and DSI decisions and personnel related to sales & marketing.

Definitions and Acronyms
LEED – Stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. The most widely used green building rating system in the world, used to provide a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings
HPT – Acronym for Health Product Declarations
EPT – Acronym for Environmental Product Declarations
Red List – List of chemicals that are harmful to the environment and/or to human health. Red List Free on a declare label means the company does not use any of these harmful chemicals in their product. A list of these chemicals can be found at The Living Future Institute’s website
Declare Label – A transparency platform and product database that tells where a product comes from, what it is made of, and where it goes at the end of its life
Living Building Challenge – The world’s most rigorous proven performance standard for buildings. Used to help create spaces that give more back to the environment than they take Post-Consumer Recycled Content – Portion of material or product derived from discarded consumer waste that has been recovered for use as a raw material (e.g., plastic bottles, newspaper)
