Request To Exit High Current / Voltage Signaling Switch (EXV)

The Request To Exit (EX) and High Current / Voltage Request To Exit (EXV) Switch options are used for entrance and exit doors with panic and fire exit hardware. Th EX signaling option can be used to signal an alarm or send a remote signal to monitor egress conditions. The EXV can be used to control power to a device that requires higher current.

  • Switch capable of signaling at low currents for integration to a central control station
  • Request to Exit Signal Switch provides 3 wires for either Normally Open or Normally Closed signaling when pushpad is pressed
  • Use EXV to switch power on and off to an electromagnetic lock
  • Standard SPDT (Form C) switch with three wires, Yellow (N/O), Brown (Common), and Gray (N/C), creating either a Normally Open or Closed contact
  • Tamper resistant switching electronically monitors pushpad
