Detex Lockdown System Secures Healthcare Facilities During Emergencies

Detex Corporation, manufacturer of high-quality life safety and security door hardware for commercial-use buildings, provides critical protection for healthcare facilities when threatening situations arise. Using centralized control, the Detex Lockdown System can rapidly secure external doors and prevent access into the building.

Lockdown System components include Advantex® panic hardware with electric latch retraction or electric dogging, remote control switches (central or multiple), and power supplies. Auxiliary equipment includes door-propped alarms to alert staff of open exit doors, vandal-resistant breakaway trims, and ProxiPen guard tour verification.

Healthcare customers can select the exact combination of components they require and know that they will integrate easily with each other and function well as a system.
