Detex Corporation captured the most votes in the Best New Product Contest for its ECL-230X-TDB exit control lock at the 2011 ALOA tradeshow. The ECL-230X-TDB is a code-compliant, battery-alarmed, 3-point dead bolt panic device with a photo-luminescent sign providing maximum security and a 100-decibel alarm for secondary exits. The award was accepted by Trice Kastein, Sales Manager for Institutional Sales; Tim Shafer, Repair Technician; Scott Peck, Sales Engineer; and Gary Hackney, Manager of Channel Sales.
